One county, four different jobs
Butte County covers ground that could not be more different from one end to the other, and the buildings on it fail in different ways. A century-old bungalow in the Chico Avenues has original hardwood over a raised crawlspace, so a supply-line leak reaches the subfloor before anything shows on the surface. A two-year-old rebuild on the Paradise Ridge fails at the appliance instead — a washing-machine hose, an ice-maker line — and on a slab that water runs sideways under the flooring where nobody can see it.
